Waypoints is a web-based platform that enables organisations to transform real buildings and spaces into interactive virtual environments. The starting point is a visual overview of all relevant locations – whether a building complex, campus, or individual structure. A click or QR code opens the virtual environment of the selected location, with a level of detail that can be freely chosen: from a simple 360-degree panorama or stylised building view through to a fully explorable 3D reconstruction.

Within these environments, freely positionable info panels allow visitors to access texts, images, videos, and audio content.

Guided tours with defined waypoints make it possible to discover content in a structured sequence and tell stories in a coherent, step-by-step way.

All content is managed through an integrated CMS – changes go live immediately, and drafts can be saved at any stage. A multi-tier permission system controls which content is publicly accessible and which is visible only to selected user groups.

Waypoints runs fully on smartphones, tablets, and desktop computers, and is suited to museums, universities, companies, and cultural institutions – wherever spaces carry stories worth sharing.
