On Girls'Day, companies, businesses and universities throughout Germany open their doors to schoolgirls from the 5th grade upwards. Girls get insights into apprenticeships and courses of study in IT, crafts, natural sciences and technology, fields in which women are rarely represented.
Our young visitors learned about different data glasses and the differences between augmented and virtual reality.
Of course, everyone was also allowed to try out the data glasses. Together they could explore a virtual production facility and practice handling and using virtual objects. We also gave an insight into the areas of application of this exciting technology in the working world and talked in general about jobs in the IT industry.
