A critical WSUS security vulnerability is the reason for today's episode on the challenges in the Microsoft ecosystem. We discuss why even companies with their own servers, as in the case of our recent Exchange problem, are heavily dependent on Microsoft. Does the hybrid approach between local IT and the cloud still make sense, or does it just create problems? And it's about the constant balancing act between supposed independence, administrative overhead, and the question of whether Linux would ultimately be the better alternative.
