The attempt

To mark Anzefahr's 800th anniversary, the TTC went for a world record: 210 hours of nonstop table tennis—with players taking turns at the table day and night. The effort was a powerful statement of community life in a village that proudly celebrated its 800th birthday.

The club

The TTC Anzefahr is a table tennis club in the Marburg region. For decades, community life, dedicated youth work and grassroots sport have been at its heart—far from the limelight, yet carried by a team spirit that made this world record possible in the first place.
