Conference on “Digital Transformation” with INOSOFT participation and presentation on “Digitization Trends”

More than 50 participants from academia and industry accepted the invitation from the THM Department of Economics to attend the 28th Practice Forum on January 22, 2025, in Giessen to discuss “Digital Transformation: Real Opportunity or Tolerable Challenge.” The event highlighted the discrepancy between the idealized metamorphosis of the entire company and the implementation, which often only takes place in the form of isolated solutions.

Prof. Dr. Christian Leyh (THM) opened the conference by stating that a profound understanding of digital transformation is essential in order to integrate digital trends into corporate strategy at an early stage.

He presented the “DigiTAMM” maturity model developed at THM, which enables medium-sized companies to carry out a structured self-assessment and plan further digitization steps.

Thomas Winzer, founder and CEO of INOSOFT, presented the rapidly shortening innovation cycles in digital business and current “digitization trends.”

As an impressive practical example, he highlighted the joint project “DokPro” with the University Hospital of Giessen/Marburg. This modular AI platform is designed to support the initial assessment of clinical pictures in the emergency room and clearly demonstrates the interaction of humanoid avatars, medical expertise, and electronic patient records.
