Having our own data center, as well as many PCs and laptops, naturally consumes a lot of electricity. That's why we started thinking about building our own photovoltaic power system a long time ago.
After a long preparation phase and an even longer wait for planning permission, we are finally getting started: the construction company arrived yesterday and if everything goes smoothly, our photovoltaic power system will go into operation in September. The rear part of our parking area will then be completely covered with an individual solar carport power system from Sopago.
The power system is designed in such a way that our annual energy requirements can be generated in a completely climate-neutral way.
